Regla “Su” Becquer, 49, operator of “Love & Caring for People LLC,” has been charged with murder following the death of a client, Steven Kelly Pankratz, due to mixed drug toxicity. Authorities allege that Becquer administered medications not prescribed to Pankratz, leading to his death. Investigations have expanded to over 20 client deaths since September 2022, amid allegations of neglect, fraud, and abuse in her unlicensed Texas facilities. Becquer remains in custody with a $1.5 million bond.
